PROFILE OF OUR GROUP
Ours
is a group incorporated in the year 1956. We started commercial production
in the year 1958 with the manufacture of Aluminium Collapsible Tubes.
Since then we have been pioneers in introducing Impact extruded packaging
material to our country. The products introduced include aluminium seamless
bottles for packaging of liquid pesticides, aluminium monobloc aerosols,
special industrial components, pharmaceutical aerosols, and marker barrels,
etc.
We
have our unit located at Nagpur in Central India. The plant is located
on a plot of 11,000 sq. meters. with a built-up area of 26,000 sq. ft. and
houses 4 production lines for aerosols, markers, collapsible tubes, etc.
etc. One with a modern 6 colour printing machine, all our machines are
imported from Germany, Italy and UK.
We introduced aluminium monobloc aerosols to this country in the year
1966. The aerosol can business has not grown in our country till very
recently due to various factors including economic conditions. In the
last few years our country is going through substantial economic reforms
whereby consumer awareness is being created in leaps and bounds. We have
a vast population of 1 billion people now and thus a vast potential for
consumer products. In the last two years, India has seen the entry of
multi-nationals from the Cosmetics and Toiletries Industries to tap the
vast potential this country offers. In our opinion monobloc aerosols play
a very important role in the packaging requirements for the toiletries
and pharmaceutical industry. We have a capacity to produce up to 3.5 million
aerosols per month.
The present consumption of aerosols in the country is only approximately 3 million pieces per month, which are now projected to grow at a phenomenal rate of 20% compounded annually. India has signed the Montreal Protocol and the Committee has funded 50 filling Units for the conversion of CFC's to HAPs. The products presently packed in aerosols are perfumes, deodorants, room fresheners, insecticides, audio video head cleaners, hair sprays, industrial products like mould releasers, rust cleaner/removers, lubricants, fire extinguishers, butane refills, spray bandages, pain relievers, anti asthmatics and so forth.
We at Bharat Containers have the basics required in the form of technology, manpower, Contacts with all customers and total administrative capabilities. We now represent "Pamasol AG" of Switzerland - Manufacturers of filling and packing Machines for Aerosols and Spray systems for selling their equipment's in India.
